Do you have a special celebration coming up?

The Pirate Ship is available to hire in Mandurah all year round for private charter, accommodating up to 50 guests. Join us for your next special celebration or Christmas party!

Private hire requires a minimum of 20 paying guests. We also suggest for bookings where food is included to have a maximum of 40 guests as the food takes up some space. The vessel isn't licensed but BYO is welcomed as long as guests drink responsibly.

The cost is $25 per person per hour (multiple hours can be added, the first hour of hire includes boarding time)

Join us for a pirate cruise around Mandurah's beautiful inland waterways. Put your pirate hat on and have a bit of fun, enjoy the boat all to yourselves with your friends, family or colleagues. 2 hours of hire $50 per person 

We require a minimum 2 hours of hire for private hires with food and drink. For longer hires we suggest a maximum of 40 people aboard.

Availability and exclusions

Availability 

Private hire is available on days we are already operating at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm if food and drink is involved other than lite nibbles, it needs to be our last cruise for the day.

Exclusions

These price options don't apply to the Christmas Lights cruises, public holidays or special event dates (Crab Fest, Easter weekend and between Christmas and New year). Christmas lights cruises sell out and are only available for 5 weeks of the year, our private hire cost for Christmas lights reflects this. If you have a group close to 45-50 people maximum then it could be an option. 

We don't allow any adult entertainment onboard.

There is also no swimming allowed off the Pirate Ship.

How to book?

If you could let us know your preferred date and time of departure, how many guests and if you are bringing food and drinks aboard.

Once these details are confirmed we require a non refundable 25% deposit. The final payment is due 2 weeks from the private hire date. Inside of two weeks no changes can be made to the departure date or time.

 

Christmas light private charters

Christmas light hires are non refundable requiring a 50% non refundable deposit to secure the hire and the remaining balance is due the 1st of November. There can be no changes to the departure date or time on Christmas light hires once confirmed.

Pick up and Drop offs 

The departure jetty is located out the front of the bay cafe opposite 9 Mandurah terrace.

Can I be picked up from another jetty?

Any travel to and from our normal jetty of operation will be inside of the hire time. The jetty will need to be a floating jetty's over 10m in length.

We can not pick up at timber jetties with out a specific gangway for each location so we do not offer pick ups or drop offs from timber jetties.
