International Talk Like a Pirate Day

We Raised $1,205.45

Thank You to everyone that supported our Talk Like a Pirate Day event, we have raised $1,205.45 for the Talk Like a Pirate Childhood Cancer Support charity. A special thanks to the local businesses that donated prizes, Foreshore Fish & Chips, Simmos Ice Creamery and City of Mandurah who waived the event fees. Sorry to those that came early looking for the face painter and thanks to Mandurah Mermaids who sent someone down at the last minute after we booked for the wrong day! Thank you to 91.7 Wave FM for helping promote the event.

The Event

International Talk Like a Pirate Day, is nationally recognised as the major fundraiser for childhood cancer support, this is an opportunity to polish ye hook and say "Ahoy there me hearties" to your mateys.

We will be offering 30 minute cruises running all day everyone is $10 (under 3 still free) purchase your ticket and just head on down. Bookings are valid for the entire day, you can join any cruise between 11am and 3pm, there are no fixed departure times.

Put on your best pirate attire for our best dressed competitions and practice your best pirate phrases and jokes to win a selection of prizes. There will be face painting and a bouncy castle on the foreshore for a gold coin donation. Every dollar we can raise helps us donate more to the childhood cancer support charity.

Talk Like a Pirate Day is on the 19th September but we are holding ours on Saturday the 21st September so that more people are able to join in on the fun.

Cruise Times

Cruises will depart every 30 minutes and your ticket is not associated with any specific trip. Come down, enjoy the free activities on the foreshore and then join the next cruise.
