Overview of the Pirate Ship Mandurah
Offering short inland cruises from 45 minutes to 90 minutes in duration.
Accessibility & Boarding
There is a smooth sloped ramp from the land to the Pirate Ship for boarding. Once you get to the boat there is a small step onto the Pirate Ship from the jetty.
The gate opens to a maximum width of 800mm once onboard bench style seating is 600mm apart.
The Pirate Ship is not wheelchair accessible however we have had some parents with small children in wheelchairs carry them on and get them seated.
The toilet has 3 stairs once inside toilet. There is an accessible toilet located on the Western foreshore close to the departure location.
Guests are welcome to bring walkers and we can fold these up and store them, the sides of the boat has 900mm high rails that can be used for walking support to seats along with assistance.

Walk ons for the next available cruise at the departure jetty subject to availability located opposite 9 Mandurah terrace.

Companion Cards
We do not accept the companion card. All children who have a companion card will still be required to pay for an adult to attend with them.
If you are an adult with a disability wanting to attend who would normally be able to cruise alone but require a carer for assistance, then the carer will be entitled to a free ticket.
We do not offer free tickets for children joining our cruise as all children require supervision regardless.
Christmas Lights Cruises
We do not offer free carer tickets for our Christmas Lights cruises.

Emergency Management
- Safety briefing is explained after arrival before we depart the jetty this is also when the layout will be explained.
- In the event of an emergency the crew will visually and verbally alert occupants.
- Exit access is free and clear at all times
We ensure exit access is free and clear at all times by: The gates are always clear to open, prams and walkers are folded up and stored towards the back of the boat.
- Exit doors are able to be opened by all occupants
- Exits to the emergency evacuation point does not include stairways
The crew identifies guests who need additional assistance should an emergency occur. customers can add notes at the time of booking. We also count and greet every passenger coming onto the boat the staff will be aware of any limitations of customers.
The procedure for assisting guests who need assisted rescue is: Someone will assist them getting a life jacket on or assign a person to help if there is a serious emergency. If it is minor staff can accompany them off the boat the same as we do when they board.
