We Raised $1,205.45
Thank You to everyone that supported our Talk Like a Pirate Day event, we have raised $1,205.45 for the Talk Like a Pirate Childhood Cancer Support charity. A special thanks to the local businesses that donated prizes, Foreshore Fish & Chips, Simmos Ice Creamery and City of Mandurah who waived the event fees. Sorry to those that came early looking for the face painter and thanks to Mandurah Mermaids who sent someone down at the last minute after we booked for the wrong day! Thank you to 91.7 Wave FM for helping promote the event.
Gather friends and family and bring in the New Year with a double display of spectacular fireworks, live music, disco lights, roving entertainment, amusement rides and other kid's activities. There will be a free shuttle bus service every 20 minutes between the Mandurah Train Station and the Mandurah Visitor Centre at the Foreshore. Starts 6pm ends 12:01 am on 1st January 2019.
Come and experience the wonder of Christmas at the Mandurah Community Christmas Pageant, presented by ACTON Mandurah. Commencing at 6pm, the pageant will include a decorated float parade followed by live stage entertainment, an interactive nativity scene, workshops, Santa's Grotto, carols and spectacular fireworks at 8:30pm.

Experience a great evening with friends, with a little fitness & lots of fun. You will work up a thirst with the 5k or 10k run through Drakesbrook Winery. Then enjoy a cool down through the wine tasting waddle to re-energise yourself before some grape dancing with our live entertainment as the sun goes down.
This is a +18 event only
This means that NO-ONE under the age of 18 is allowed to be present at the after party, including but not limited to small children, babies, toddlers & school children. This is due to the consumption of alcohol.
Partners are more then welcome to come and spectate the run, however if you choose to stay on for the entertainment, you'll need to purchase a GIG ticket.

The Australasian Games is a sporting event rotated throughout the different states and this year it's coming to Mandurah WA. Participants can use their event passport to receive a discount on The Pirate Ship and locals are encourage to come down and watch the action.
The Mandurah Children’s Festival is a FREE event for children of all ages to attend and participate in a safe and friendly environment. Come along to a fun family day out on the Mandurah foreshore.
Running from 10am to 3pm
Following the success and the number of Youth entrants in the 2018 competition, Jodie Davidson will again present practical instructions and ideas to plan and create a wearable art garment for the 2019 competition. The series of three workshops include: Workshop One: Concept, development and planning followed by working with found and freely sourced materials to create effects and patterns for your garment Workshop Two: Getting the pieces together. Begin constructing your garment including headpieces and accessories Workshop Three: Construction A wide range of materials will be provided, however, participants are encouraged to bring along any of their own materials if they wish to.
Event is 9am to 3pm Cost is free.
